Customer Reviews
Evil lurks in small-town America
After reading Night Sins I thought it would be hard to better it for psychological tension but I was wrong! This book subtly and entirely effectively weaves a thread of fear and mistrust through your mind. The characters are wonderfully 3-dimensional, each one a bundle of neuroses that make them fascinating to observe. It would have been very easy for this to be a rehash of the first book but Ms Hoag lifts it to a whole new, fascinating level. Suffice to say I loved this book and so will anyone who has read Night Sins. An absolute must for all whodunnit fans but read them in order to get the full spinechilling effect.
Excellent reading
Just a thrilling book where you will not want to put it down. The excitement will keep you reading page after page and when you do come to finish it you will rush out and buy another Hoag book. Without a doubt this is pure class.
Sustained climax
To fully enjoy this novel you must read "Night sins", to illustrate the background to this book. "Guilty as sin" is a story full of many twists and turns, that you will not guess until the very last page! If you enjoy John Grisham'S novels, these two books are a must. However, it must be noted that there is a more romantic element to Tami Hoag's novels.
