Synopsis
The ground-breaking and utterly hilarious Monty Python’s Flying Circus team is celebrating a milestone event with the release of Monty Python’s 400th Anniversary DVD Box Set. The surreal British comedy troupe, made up of JOHN CLEESE, MICHAEL PALIN, ERIC IDLE, GRAHAM CHAPMAN, TERRY JONES and TERRY GILLIAM, revolutionised comedy both on TV and the big screen and the group’s significance can still be seen today through their influence on modern comedy and through the iconic status surviving members of the team have taken on.

The box set marks Monty Python’s 400th anniversary (or their 40th, depending on your point of view…) in true style, featuring all of the team’s well-loved movies, including Monty Python And The Holy Grail, Monty Python’s The Life Of Brian, Monty Python’s Meaning Of Life, And Now For Something Completely Different and Monty Python Live At The Hollywood Bowl.

Value for Money5
I bought this to watch and enjoy with my daughter who hasnt seen Monty Python. I thought it was good value for what it say's on the box. I'd recommend as a good present for anyone who enjoys a laugh. Grab your Popcorn and join in with "He's not the messiah! He's a very naughty boy!", and "It's only a flesh wound!". great fun for all adults.........dont forget the bring a shrubbery! :P

Monty Python at its best4
Classic Monty Python at its best, the 40th Anniversary Box Set is one of the best ways to experience the best of Monty Python, thus wetting your appetite for more in the future

And now for something not remotely different...3
I've been trawling the web for a decent boxset of the Python movies, and I finally found one - a 6 disc set - which I ordered. Then I saw this...how is this different? Well apart from the inclusion of the Hollywood Bowl disc, I can't find one, so it'd be nice if someone could explain.

There are so many different repackages of the Python movies it's all terribly confusing...3 stars for their genius, and no stars for the stupidity of releasing this a gazzilion times in different packaging.
