Excellent Book
Having previously used Dreamweaver, I recently decided to change over to Expression Web 2 for website creation. Although the program is, in my opinion, a lot more intuitive to use as compared to Dreamweaver, I needed a guide book to help with the more in-depth features of the program. This book is very well laid out, and written in a very readable style. I found the text to cover just the perfect amount of detail, enough to teach the program, without getting flooded in unnecessary extra information. Also I was pleased by the large amount of screen shots, which are very helpful in making the text even more understandable.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone using Expression Web 2. It is by far the best software related instruction book I have ever read.
Thorough but not a book for a novice web designer
If you have prior experience with web design and are buying this book to learn new software then this book is fine - it is more of a reference text than a "how to guide for first time webdesigners". The reason this book is not suitable for someone wanting to take the first dip into desiging their first website is that within the first few pages the author uses jargon such as CSS, FTP, HTTP via FrontPage Server Extensions and WebDAV.
Expression Web 2 'Bible'.
Latest edition of Jim Cheshire's comprehensive book on Microsoft Expression Web, covering the new features in Expression Web 2. Detailed explanation of the use of the program including all the new additions such as support for PHP. The essential guide.
