Kajagoogoo HAVE got Talent !!!5
Ok lets set the record (or in this case cd/dvd) straight...

Kajagoogoo are not one hit wonders, their first album White Feathers spawned 3 hit singles including of course their signature tune Too Shy which is still very classy by todays standards. Their second album Islands (Without Limahl) was as good, if not better in my opinion changing direction and becoming a more Jazz/Funk/Brass sound which showed they can really play. Actually my fav is on this album the thumping Lions Mouth and the go for it sound of Big Apple. After the success their third album struggled which led to them splitting up until their appearance on the MTV bands Reunited show and recent reformation. Something which alot of 80's band are now doing.

Yes they are definatley a product of the 80's with dodgy hairstyles and some daft videos but don't let that put you off. They have some top feel good tunes that you will remember if you where a teen at the time and they are all here including a classic Top of the Pops version of Too Shy to singalong too with a couple of new tracks too. So enjoy and it's great to see them back !!!!

Nostalgia got the better of me and I bought this. Unfortunately there is a good reason Kajagoogoo were consigned to the scrap heap and I haven't been able to make it though this full CD. Listening to their songs one after another is just boring; the video's are throw away 80's pap and not anyway near the standard of some of their piers from the time. Too Shy is OK as a one hit wonder and worth having but not at this price and probably only on an 80's compilation. Oh! And don't get me started on the new songs! I am sure Kajagoogoo fans will like this but as a casual fan whom had a couple of their 7" records I suggest you avoid.
