Customer Reviews
Excellent reworking of the format for the home reader
This book is naturally based on the game show of the same name. I'm a huge fan of the show itself but was sceptical about how they could recreate the drama in the form of a book. Actually they do an excellent job. The book takes the form of the "if you think this then turn to page x" adventure puzzle book that I used to enjoy as a kid.
Basically the game contained are games that actually happened and you get to choose whether you would have dealt or not in the same circumstances by rabbit hunting to the pages specified to see if you would have beaten the Banker.
I think it's as close to being in the studio as they could reasonably have made it PLUS you get a prologue and epilogue from the Banker himself. It's almost worth getting the book for these alone. They are hilarious - when is the Banker going to tell HIS story - now that's the book we want to see!!!
All in all, it's good fun, good value and a very easy way to keep puzzling away on the beach. Deal!
Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful
Also boring, pointless and dull. Nothing like the tv show - ofcourse as you play on your own so no-one to build the tention with. Clearly a very cheaply produced attempt to cash in on the show's sudden popularity. Gets one star as I could not give it 0. Do not waste your money!
