Imray map of Inland Waterways
Without doubt this is the most useless map I have ever bought. It is only useful function would be to decorate a wall as it has virtualy no detail, names of canals are missing, canal dimensions are misleading, it would be impossible to use to navigate by and it is difficult to see what purpose was envisaged for it. Put your money towards some good Navicarte books instead.

Very unimpressed with this map.
Firstly it is way too big, you would need a surface area the size of a dining table to spead it out. It would have been far better to reduce the overall size and pront on both sides of the paper. But most disappointingly, it does not contain an index of place names.
The map actually gives very little information, e.g. locks are not indicated. Anyone who has been to the French Canals will know that there are hundreds of locks to be navigated, neither any mention of low bridges....
Could do MUCH better than this, but seems to be the only specialist map around. Maybe I should make one myself.

Don't Buy This "Map"
If only I'd read the two other reviews before blindly purchasing this map. My complete sense of disappointment with this map can not be adequately expressed through the power of words alone. I plan to travel the Canal Du Midi and I have seen better maps searching on Google. This has been a complete waste of money. On a map which folds out to a ridiculous size, the area that I am interested in can be covered by my business card. I could continue on as writing this is sort of therapeutic and it may bring me some sense of peace - but them I catch sight of this map and the rage rises again.....
