Thrilling memories from the 70s
Family were one of the true innovators of the late 60s and early 70s. Live they were fantasically exciting with the driving band and the exploding Roger Chapman as front man. Often the act was like watching a train wreck. Here you will find how clever and precise they could be playing live for radio broadcast. Excellent quality and a real treat. Roger Chapman still tours successfully these days but here here is a chance to hear where the whole thing started. Get it now!
live? well sort of
i was a bit dissapointed with this cd,a lot of the recordings feature backing tracks from the actual albums with only the vocals and possibly the drums being live Still i suppose the music was too complicated to reproduce in the short time alloted for BBC sessins and they were by no means the only band who did this.As a document of the times it`s worth having and the last six tracks are definately live
