The critically acclaimed, award-winning new creative team of Ed Brubaker and Michael Lark make their explosive debut in a storyline that Daredevil fans will not be able to put down! For the past few years, Matt Murdock's life has been teetering on the edge of destruction. Now, pushed beyond the limit, Matt finds himself behind the eight ball with no clear way out, the people he calls friends slowly deserting him, and Hell's Kitchen gradually slipping out of control. The question is, when his back is against the wall, just how far will Daredevil go to get back what is his? Spinning out of the stunning finale of Bendis and Maleev's ground-breaking run, Brubaker and Lark pick up the billy club and run as hard and as fast as they can to leave their own mark on one of comics' most enduring legends. Longtime DD fans will not be disappointed! Collects Daredevil #82-87.

Customer Reviews
Brubaker is even better than bendis. Buy this book!
I have thoroughly enjoyed The Bendis and Maleev run of Daredevil. I have even started buying them up in hardcover I rate them that highly. I have to say though that Brubaker and Lark are on fire with this title. Brubaker has everything that Bendis' run had but seems to have much more going on per storyline. As a comic series I pretty much cannot fault it.
Gripping Stuff
I bought these after reading about the reviews of Brubaker's Captain America series (I have these on order but they haven't arrived yet) people seemed pretty effusive about his work. I have been a Daredevil fan for a few years now, Miller, Smith etc. but the Brubaker material blows all that stuff out of the water with dark brooding art and a storyline that meant I read the first volume in one evening being unable to put it down.
I think Ed Brubaker is shaping up into one of my favourite writers.
I just wish they'd hurry up and send my Cap stuff!
Buy these now, you won't be disappointed.
Top Stuff!
I agree with the other reviewer here, this could be the best ongoing comic series of the last few years. I know many will call this blasphemy, but Brubaker on this series is outdoing Frank Miller.
