Interesting and allowed a warts and all picture of Keats.
This is the second book I have read on Keats life and I found it to be well written and reasonably easy to read, maintaining my interest throughout despite running down a few trails which seemed a bit irrelevant at times. I have found that re-visiting some of Keats work is more enjoyable after having gained this insight to his life. The book clearly shows a man of character who, despite the outside influences on his short life, left us all a unique legacy, which has left an imprint on many lives. An excellent text book for students and teachers.
