Editorial Reviews

CD Description
Fathers Eugene & Martin O'Hagan and David Delargy are RomanCatholic priests from Northern Ireland who have been singing together since childhood. Signed on the spot by Epic aftertheir demo landed on the MD's desk, their album is being simultaneously released in an unprecedented 30 territories. Unsurprisingly the bulk of the material is traditional devotional music, but it also features classical excerpts and has been given a rock sheen by producer Mike Hedges (Manic StreetPreachers, The Cure).

Breathtaking...5
When Time Magazine said 'they sing like angels' it was far from an exaggeration. With the seemingly endless supply of operatic voices singing lacklustre versions of `Pie Jesu' these days, the three Priests from Northern Ireland are totally a refreshing revelation. What sets them apart from the rest is their connection to this collection of songs that draws you into their world, leaving you believing every word that they sing. There's most epic and heartfelt version in `Ave Maria'; their 'Irish Blessing' is perfection and the lesser know 'Ecce Sacerdos' is totally captivating. It's not brash or preachy: it's just brilliant music.

Brilliance5
In these dark days of Winter the songs sung by The Priests are like shining stars. Definitely a captivating collection. After a stressful day's work, I just come home, put on the CD and get transported into a classical and traditional world of relaxation and peace. The priests sing with sincerity and emotion, evoking a time when people had time just to stop, listen and admire authentic singing voices. If you appreciate true musical talent and are searching for peace, this is the CD for you.

Voices Of Angels5
Listening to this album has been a spritual experience for me. Ave Maria and Pie Jesu are my favourites, but you don't want to skip any of the songs on the album. All songs are beautifully recorded and absolutely captivating. I will listen to this album for a very long time.
