The DVD features stunning highlights from Katherine singing Live at the International Eisteddfod Concert in Llangollen, Wales. This deluxe edition is released to coincide with her performance to open Centre Court at Wimbledon and her performance at the Classical Brits.

Delux edition by name, but in reality a re-package

Both discs in this set are identical to their original release versions, Serenade being Katherine's 4th studio album and a huge commercial success reaching No. 1 in the classical charts in 2006, while the DVD of her homecoming tour of the same year offered many favourites from her first 3 albums plus some hits from the newly released Serenade album to help promote it.

It's a little disappointing that this deluxe edition couldn't have been made into a `Special Edition' by the inclusion of a few previously unreleased tracks or unseen photos (the cover shot is that from the back of the original Serenade album), but maybe contractual reasons prevented the Universal label from marketing such products now that she has left the label and signed to Warner.

So, while there's nothing new here for those who already own both `Serenade' and `Live at Lllangollen', each were deservedly successful releases so if only one of them is owned it's a nice way to pick up the other.

excellent relaxing and soothing
Another great piece of entertainment in the true sense of the word. You can listen to this whilst on the go (in the car) or just relax in the garden. It does not matter where you are the music just sails through.
