A Trainspotters Dream
For someone like myself, this book almost equates to the holy grail. Having collected all things Beatles for almost 25 years and collected videos & now DVDs for the past 15 it was always a hope of mine to see a book along these lines. From the first pages, where there is a still from footage reportedly taken at the Star Club in Hamburg through to my favourite Beatle era - 1966 and to the break-up this book is expertly written, well-researched (it did take the authors 10 years!) and an absolute treasure trove of information. A good book, in Beatle terms, is one where you want to revisit the material on reading and I'm looking forward to having a day to myself soon and going through all the footage I have again with this as a companion. A book I will read again and again.

BEATLES FAN....THIS BOOK IS HEAVEN !
As a fan of the Fab Four for many years i have collected just about every piece of music they recorded.
My next quest was footage of the Beatles in concert or on TV.

Knowing where to start was the problem. This magnificent book is the answer. Whether it's appearances on Swedish TV,Ready,Steady Go,Top Of The Pops,Ed Sullivan,David Frost,Big Night Out,Morecome & Wise etc it's all listed here.
Reading the book in chronological order is like reading a history of the Band. It includes details of interviews the Band carried out during TV appearances as well as the music they played.
A superb,well researched book that any Beatles fan should have in their collection.
