All the best moments of the Prisoners five original years together. This is the first best of compilation for one of the finest and most overlooked bands of the 1980s. The band that have been lauded by both UK and US garage revivalists and launched the JTQ. Includes for the first time on a UK CD their rare early 45 ‘There’s A Time’ originally released on the French Skydog label. Buy it and buy it now!5
Fluffy haired pop princess they were not. Masters of their craft they were and what a craft it is. This is a collection of some of the most powerful tracks this collective produced. We have claustrophobic power with enormous impact. A sound that has often been parodied but never matched. The keyboard guitar combination is superb! Step outside the comfort zone, buy this and enjoy!!!

the prisoners-hurricane the best of5
this is a great compalation cd from one of britains finest if not the finest indie band of the last 20 odd years.myself bein a prisoners fan since 1985 when i saw them in edinburgh.most of my favs are here as well as a couple i havent heard.if you have never heard the prisoners music before this is where to start.there raw edge, there very danceable tunes as alan crockford always used to say when you saw the prisoners.GET UP AND DANCE.AND YOU WILL.

Just thought I'd point that out, Folks.
