About the Author
Len Deeley is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and has over 30 years diving experience all over the world. He leads diving trips for underwater photographers to global destinations and gives talks regularly to clubs and societies.

Karen Gargani’s love of the sea began at an early age. Having dived extensively in the UK, she spent a year diving around the world. Her work has been published in the top UK dive magazines. Amazing experiences and interactions with marine life inspire Karen’s writing.

Beautifully written, fabulous photos and useful info
This book has a lovely balance of stunning photos, practical information and it is written with heart. For the dives I wouldn't actually do (ie they are too cold!) I still got a real sense of the experience. This was written by people who love what they do.

This book arrived in the post this morning and I'm putting off writing my Christmas cards, as I can't seem to put it down.
I'm a complete diving novice, having recently snorkelled off the Great Barrier Reef and also just tried on diving gear and had a swift lesson under the boat; but this book is inspiring me to become much more adventurous.
The photos just seem to draw me in and make me want to be there, to experience some of the beauty and mystery of the depths.
I'm also delighted that the book is so informative and laid out so well, with basic information on each dive regarding the following: how to get there; a bit about the surrounding dry land; what you might see on the dive; depths; access; visibility; water temperature; type of dive; currents!!!; experience level; what's in the area etc.
I shall really enjoy dipping into this over Christmas, when everyone else is starting to get bored! A bargain price, too. Highly recommended!

Very well presented book covering a wide range of dives sites
The book covers the best dives sites around the world, with well written sections that describe each dive in a good level of detail. Having dived several of the sites, the photos and narrative capture the essence of each dive beautifully for both the experienced diver and non-diver. The tips on how to get to each dive site, along with a summary of the visibility, currents and depths really bring each dive to life.

Stunning pictures and inspiring writing from two very experienced divers make this a lovely book, and a good one for the coffee table!
