Cheap and nasty
These hangers look poor and are badly made. The wood is not smooth and the paint is lumpy! Avoid!

OK for the price
I bought these hangers too, and I have an in between view to both the other customers. Mine were plain varnished wood, a couple of the hangers seemed a bit weak and splintery but the rest were fine. Considering the price I would say they are a good buy, the sort of wooden hanger you would expect to find in a cheaper high street store. I'm unlikely to need for hangers for a while after buying all these but if I needed more I would buy these again.

Shoddy in quality and finishing
Made from irregular coloured (to point it looked really bad), very knotty wood with the barest hint of any varnish (well OK I couldn't see any). I bought two packs and had to return both as there were gaps in the top joint and sharp bits and holes where the wood was knotty or poorly finished. The bottom bar is quite flimsy wood attached by a single metal pin at each end and on many little care had been taken to ensure that it was centrally positioned on the hanger arms. On many the rough end of the bar protruded beyond the side of the hanger arm. Where ever these are made there is surely no quality control. I will say that this may be a case of you getting what you pay for (cheap) but as a bare minimum you would not expect over 50% of them to have significant defects likely to effect use of the hangers for a reasonble period of time which is what people buying wooden hangers for. Don't waste your time buying these, I'm reluctant now even to buy alternatives online.
