The Slanket takes an everyday conundrum - staying warm on the sofa when you haven't got (a) a boyfriend, (b) a girlfriend, or (c) a winter fuel allowance - and responds to the challenge with typically American aplomb... namely taking a couple of existing ideas and, to coin a phrase, hybridising them. Think of the Slanket as a genetic cross-breed between a fleece and a blanket and you're there. Alternatively, one may think of it as Big Daddy's dressing gown. A fluffy house coat. A Jedi cape, without the hood. The Slanket is, in short, a gigantic fleece blanket with sleeves. Pop it on and disappear inside its cuddly massiveness and be enveloped by its sheer fleeciness. Then simply pop Friends on the DVD. Open a massive bag of Maltesers. And who needs mates? Soft to the touch, lightweight and warm, it's got large, loose sleeves so you don't actually feel you're wearing it. Which might defeat the purpose, but who are we to argue? Spiffing.

So cosy
I cannot empahsise how cosy this product is. I bought one following the birth of my son as I thought it would be nice for keeping me warm whilst having a nap on the sofa between feeds. I was right. It's wide enough to wrap around you and is definitely long enough to cover you (and more). The sleeves keep your arms warm so that you don't have to drag the material away from the rest of your body.

To keep it tidy when I'm not using it, I just fold it back into the plastic zipped bag and put it by the side of the sofa ready for the next time I need it. A brilliant product that I am currently in the process of telling everyone about!

Fantastic Blanket with sleeves
I would recommend one of these for everyone they are so comfortable, warm and cosy, with the benifits of a blanket but because of the sleeves your not as restricted as you are with a blanket. With the slanket if the phone rings or you want to make a cuppa then you can keep it on and your still cosy where as if it was a blanket you would have to leave it on the chair and then wrap yourself up again before settling down to what ever you were doing.

The slanket is the best thing I have come across My daughters have these also and they wouldn't be without them because as they say dressing gowns are not for teenagers but the slanket is "cool and Trendy"

I don't know how I ever managed without one of these!! I would say a Slanket is a must for everyone!!!

It is just getting to that time of year when it is almost time to put the heating on, but with this comfy, cosy Slanket there is no need :o)
