Synopsis
The ultimate companion to the Star Wars universe, Star Wars Chronicles: The Prequels is a guided visual tour through the many worlds, characters and creatures of the final three films. The sequel to Star Wars Chronicles this volume covers in exacting detail Star Wars material released since 1999. Photographs, behind-the-scenes production stills, early sketches, computer renderings, outtakes, and more from Lucasfilm's archives explain and deconstruct the richly layered backstory and fully realized universe of Episodes I, II, and III in a level of detail craved by true Star Wars fans - every vehicle, character, planet, and plot line is examined virtually frame-by-frame. Lucasfilm's Director of Fan Relations and Star Wars guru Stephen Sansweet provides a witty and very readable text filled with insider's anecdotes and hard-to-find specifications.

Star Wars - The Book5
Wow, this book is massive, if you can get a new one with hardcover for just under £0.00 you better do it... It has got a wealth of information and hordes of pictures, and will keep you immersed for ages. I bought one just before xmas with the thought of giving it to my brother, when it arrived I decided to keep it and bought another from an american store via amazon. I wouldn't advise doing this though as I paid over the odds for a second hand book with no slip cover, get it new while you can... best of luck and remember the force is with you!!

Star Wars information ten fold5
Me i'm a massive star wars fan and have over drum roll please.... 2000 items each individually counted and listed and i'm only 14. And in my collection this book shines out as one of my favourite pieces of all. You know why? because its loaded with information and clear stunning pictures from EpI, II and III. It also includes some 2 pages each on making of each Episode which is a welcome but small edition. It covers everything from characters to weapons to planets and locations to vehicles and starships and even has production photos and eye boggoling screenshots. It comes with a protective cover with darth vaders mask in a stencil like form which goes over t he silver picture of Ep I Anakin on the front cover. This is a cool feature and this book even though pricy is well worth the money taking me weeks to read and study each picture being of high quality it is a must have for any Star Wars fan.

Mmm..Impressive, but not impressive enough3
I am a massive Star Wars fan, and having got a copy of the original Chronicles released in '97, i was really looking forward to getting this.
The book is printed beautifully, and has nearly every character and scene broken down in running order of the prequel films. Hundreds of pictures, references ect.so plenty of reading material.
However, i found nothing new in here that had not already been showed and printed in previous "Making of.." books previously released for each of the films.
This to me seems a very expensive rehash of those books and is not on par with the original Chronicle book.
For most Star Wars fans, its one for the collection, but only so that it completes the whole saga.
