IS THIS THE BEST CORKSCREW EVER YOU BET IT IS
I AM NOT ONE FOR WRITING A LOT OF REVIEWS BUT I JUST READ THE OTHER 2 AND I HAVE TO SAY I BOUGHT MINE JUST BEFORE XMAS LAST YEAR AND MY ONE STILL WORKS AS WELL AS IT DID WHEN I FIRST GOT THAT IS TO SAY WITH GREAT EASE IT LOOKS TO ME LIKE A VERY WELL MADE PRODUCT I WOULD CERTAINLY BUY ONE AGAIN OR AS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE.

Buy cheap buy thrice
The only reason it gets any stars is simple. It does what it says, i.e. it pulls the cork out easily (if you are a guy) and is cheap. I bought the original model from Screw Pull (and it cost a lot) for my Dad. He loved it and demonstrated it to all and sundry at every occaision for about a year. My Mother bought this "clone" version for the house in France. However my Dad is an engineer and had doubts about the build quality of this one. He was proved correct when the teeth in the ratchet broke on it within 6 months. How long is the gurantee, Screw Pull give 20 years - and I beleive them, if thios breaks you just have to whistle - sorry Amazon, you must stock the original.
To underscore what I said about being a guy, even with the original my Mum, Aunt and wife all agreed it was not so simple to use and there was a minimum strength required. On the original it was less due to the better materials used, however it stiull takes a bit of strength/technique and some practice.

And it works really well the bit I like is the foil cutter/wax remover never see this before but it's FAB The corkscew has it's own storage case with info on wine temps and types of wine to sever with different food all in all this makes a fantastic gift for any would be wine lover buy one you'll love it I'm sure.
