Customer Reviews
A Collection of 10 PRINCESS stories under one cover
chosen by Anna Wilson, with some more familiar than others.

From the back cover:-
'Every princess has a story to tell......
A pretty-perfect princess and a badly behaved princess,
a princess in love and a princess in BIG trouble......
These are just a few of the princesses on parade in this fun, magical story collection.'
Colourful paperback covers open to a chunky tome of 280 matt pages, split into 10 stories:-
The Sixteenth Princess by Jeremy Strong
The Frog Princess by Alan Durant
The Twelve Dancing Princesses Saviour Pirotta
The Princess and the Pea by Sally Gardner
A Wreath of Wild Roses retold by Barbara Sleigh
The Princess's New Nose by Anna Wilson
Cinderella Rap by Tony Mitton
The Reluctant Dragon and the Wilful Princess by William Raeper
The Little Mermaid by Anna Wilson
Princess Dragonbreath by Fiona Dunbar
Numbered pages, interspersed with the occasional black and white illustrations.
Given the number of pages, the text is of reasonable size and is enhanced in places FOR EFFECT!
My only slight criticism is that the titles are slightly hard to read due to the font used on the contents page and in each story header, but each right hand page of the book has the title written clearly at the top.
Example of text:-
From The Princess's New Nose:-
'Princess Precious was a proud princess, and she was especially proud of her teeny-weeny, tiny little nose.
It was a nose covered in just enough little freckles to set off its perfect prettiness. It was a nose that turned up at the end just enough to be described as 'cute' rather than 'ski jump'.
And, most importantly, it was a nose that was just big enough to enable the princess to look down it at people whose profiles were not quite so perfect.
"My beauty is extraordinary - it's as plain as the noses on their faces," she sighed.
Everywhere that Princess Precious went, she was worshipped for her perfect nose.
Her courtiers bowed low as she swept through the palace grounds.
They muttered:
"Good morning, Your Nosiness."
"Bless you, Your Hooterness,"
"Good day, Your High Conkness."
Now, this might sound incredibly rude to you or me, but it was music to Princess Precious`s ears) not to mention her nose)...............'
And that ultra-sensitive nose has a tendency to sniff out trouble and get where it shouldn't, with interesting results ....as we find out as this amusing story continues to unfold!
