Very Good For The Beginner
When I purchased this book I had never fished at all in my life. Also I was at an age where I did not really want to ask for help for fear of feeling stupid (Age 31). This book really is aimed at children, but I found it invaluable. Being a novice this book takes it right from the beginning. This is a thin book and certainly not aimed for the experienced angler. Its pictures are colourful and so is the book. It will help you start fishing (the very basics) Once you have read this book you will have a better understanding, and I am sure go onto bigger and better things.

Overall this is an informative book at basic level and will help you get started.

A must for the absolute beginner
Like the previous reviewer I have never fished (I am now 52). Never ever fished. My boys 14 and 12 begged me to take them. We have bought 4 books of varying styles all aimed at the beginner. However all though very good assume you know a little bit about fishing. This book assumes no knowledge and explains everything in really simple terms very very simple diagrams very simple explanations. Definately aimed at the child market but invaluable to get you started you need other books as well but if you have no knowledge buy it.
