Fishing for beginners? Where's the useful info.1
I recently rented this DVD, I'd have been seriously annoyed had I bought it!
This seems to have been very poorly put together. It consists of three segments of different anglers, but there is very little instruction. It shows none of the things a beginner would expect to see. One of the things that annoyed me the most with this was the suggestion that most beginners start with pole fishing. I am not a complete novice angler, I learnt, as many of us do, from my father. I recently came to realise he knows less than I thought so have been filling gaps in my knowledge. In my years of basic angling I've never come across anyone who started with pole fishing! Only one of the segments on this DVD covered rod & reel fishing. Not only did I not learn anything, I found this difficult to watch. It wasn't interesting!

I have recently bought this video but was very annoyed to find for a beginner it was of no use at all. It showed people fishing but did not discribe in any detail what to buy or how to use it properley. These people were experts but gave very little advise to the beginner. I certianly would not have spent my money if I had known how little advise was there. A beginner needs to be shown how to tie a hook on as well as a float & bait, what gear to buy first & best way to use it all.
