Just try it...
What a great introduction to macrobiotics. Got started straight away and fel better for it. The information is inspiring and when I read through I got to the point where it would be difficult to eat anything else. I lost weight, feel fitter and calmer emotionally. Just joined Simon's yahoo discussion group as well.
If you are interested in healthy eating and improving health I would definately recommend this book.

I bought this book and wow it all made sense. Even without trying I found myself changing my foods. If knowledge is power......The photos alone made me want to try the recipes. Some took a bit of getting used to but after my third miso soup I got into it. I have had it everyday for the last week.
I started due to poor health and am already feeling better. At the back of the book Simon includes his website. I went on and found runs a free macrobiotic yahoo discussion group. So now I get to chat to Simon and other macrobiotic people from all over world.
It all worked much better than I ever dared to hope.

My girlfriend recommended this book and although I was sceptical at first it is packed with facts and I now know a lot more about food. As a result I eat a lot more living whole foods, my diet is better balanced in terms of acid and alkaline, potassium rich and lower in GI. I tried the ten day eating plan and felt better than I can remember. The book is easy to use and the food not as hard to prepare as I imagined - just needs more planning ahead. I like the flexible, open minded approach. The idea of food having energy is really interesting. Now I know what Madonna is on!
