What an improvement
I replaced a Jessops non-multicoated UV filter with this on my 18 - 135 Nikon / D80 combo and the difference was stunning. Better colour saturation and less ghosting, without causing vignetting because it is so thin. Everything looks less hazy. I'm even impressed by the comparison in price. and of course it protects the front element of my lens .

No quality problems
Well I've received the super HMC Pro-1, so I guess the previous reviewer did not choose the right seller! It is a good thin filter and so far hadn't had problems with it on my 10-22 mm, no vignetting and smae image quality than with no filter.
