Recommended with the following AF-S Nikkor lenses: AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8D ED-IF AF-S 300mm f/2.8D ED-IF (II) AF-S 300mm f/4D ED-IF AF-S 400mm f/2.8D ED-IF (II) AF-S 500mm f/4D ED-IF (II) and AF-S 600mm f/4D ED-IF (II). This Teleconvertor increases focal length by 100% and is capable of reducing the lens aperture by two f-stops. It has a full aperture metering with compatible cameras. The Nikon Integrated Coating reduces flare and ghosting. Nikon TC20E II has a new Front Cap BF-3A that can be used as a body cap.

Check this is compatible wit your lens
I bought this to fit on my Nikon AFS VR 70-300 IF ED lens -the product description says it will fit all AFS VR lenses - IT DOESN'T - So check before you buy.
BTW - Amazon refunded my money straight away

Check compatibility
I bought this to fit my 18-200 VF-R all singing AF-S lens. But it doesn't fit that one either!
