About the Author
Award-winning quilt artist Sandra Meech is an experienced teacher and lecturer who works with quilting, embroidery and textile groups in the UK and around the world. She is from Canada, and most of her work is inspired by the Arctic landscape. She is a member of Quilt Art, an international group of contemporary quilt artists, and exhibits widely in the UK, Europe and North America, where many of her quilts are in private collections. She is the author of Contemporary Quilts: Design, Surface and Stitch, also published by B T Batsford. She lives in Binfield, Berkshire.
