Big screen viewing
For viewing your pictures or sharing with friends, the Z20fd has a superb 2.5" LCD screen with a resolution of 230,000 pixels, you can't get much better. Sensing ambient light, the LCD automatically adjusts brightness for optimum viewing indoors or outdoors.
Unlike some inferior cameras, the LCD is protected by a scratch resistant coating, so even in your pocket the screen has its own protection. And for showing off to friends, it even allows you to navigate up to 100 thumbnail images on screen at the same time.
Ultra-fast Face Detection with red eye removal
Featuring Fujifilm's acclaimed ultra-fast Face Detection technology, which will seek out faces in the darkness of a party to give perfectly focused and exposed pictures every time and instantly finds and corrects any red eye from every face in the frame.
Get the perfect photo - even with flash
Fujifilm’s Intelligent Flash system detects subtle lighting differences within a scene, and then varies the flash intensity accordingly. It also uses the high sensitivity of the FinePix Z20fd to enable the camera to use less flash, preventing that "blasted with light" effect.
In addition, the Natural Light & Flash mode takes two photos in quick succession, one with flash and one without. Both photos are then displayed side by side for quick comparison so that you can decide which one to keep.
No more blurry pictures
You will instantly appreciate the benefits of Fujifilm's Super CCD sensor. The increased surface area means it is far more sensitive to light, with faster shutter speeds to reduce image blur and reduce the need for flash in low light.

Fantastic - exceeded expectations
This is a really good camera. I bought it recently and I am so pleased I did. The Shake Control is really good - as good as that on a camera 4x the price. The red eye reduction and face detection work equally well. It's simple to set up, and the software installed very quickly. The only drawbac was that it is from the USA, so I need an adaptor to be able to charge it, but I picked one up for £5. Overall, this is perfect if you want a quality, stylish, tech - packed camera.
Lense in the wrong place.
The lense being in the top left hand corner of the camera means that people taking the pictures are constantly accidentally covering it with their finger and ruining your pictures. Had I had thought about the location of the lense was I would not have bought this camera.
However it is a good camera for the price and looks good and is easy to use. I just think you have to remember where they've awkwardly placed the lense.
Excellent - so far
Bought myself this as my first digital camera, and really surprised. Thought I would struggle and be confused but not at all.
Good instructions and easy to use, I have already taken some very good pictures.
I know that the camera has lots to offer that I haven't used yet, but I feel confident to learn as I go and that I will not be wanting to upgrade in the near future.
Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone.
