Lullaby for grown-ups
Sara Tavares has the sweetest voice I ever heard - having the privilege of going to one of her concerts in London.
Her melodic and smooth accent really takes you some place else. Every single song of this album is sang with real feeling and makes you feel with her, breaking any language barriers.
An amazing singer, an amazing album!
good second album
I've heard it said that Great music transcends language barriers and Sara Tavares proves this theory ten times over.Although Xinti,in my opinion isn't as great as balance (an incredible hard act to follow and her first album) it is still a worthwhile listen.Where as Balance grabs the listener from the get-go,Xinti requires a few more listens before it becomes distinctive.But Sara's lush vocals and melodic intonation are pure aural joy.No music lover could regret this purchase.
