A "how-to" guide from a grand storyteller
Gierach gives a nut & bolts guide to flyfishing small water. While he doesn't spend much time spinning fishing tales, he does offer an extensive discussion of how he fly fishes - offering insight into the skills that he's built up on all those adventures he's told of in some of his more recent books.
My least favorite of all of his books.
While I have been enamored with most of his other narratives , this book read as if it was thrown together and was not as light-hearted or enjoyable. Prefer Sex, Death, and Flyfishing above all.
Just a little more technical than the normal "BUM"
Not as light hearted, but, a very informative read
