nice introduction to welsh flies, clear images, good tying instructions, with a little history thrown in for good measure. Sea trout section very good, really worth buying just for these examples.
Flies of Wales
Very informative and interesting book. Fly patterns are well described and many of the older patterns have been revived.
A must have for fishing buffs.
The written details of each fly appear alphabetically and are catagorised into sections - wet, dry, salmon, sewin etc, but the fly pictures are not synchronised with where the fly's details appear in the book and appear on numbered plates (pages) throughout the book instead of all in one place, which would have been a lot easier to find. Otherwise,an excellent book for flytyers of all levels, especially if you are from or intend fishing in Wales.
