Lindsay Buckingham ALIVE & WELL & tremendous
Just bought the DVD from the US, UK release is due later this year. Lindsay performs well known and more obscure songs from his back catalogue. Superb picture and 5.1 sound - running over 2 hours with a documentary this is by far the best music DVD of the year so far. Buy it.

It's all the good stuff...1. the DVD & CD combo makes this a great buy for home viewing and car listening. 2. the picture quality is quite simply superb - much better than the Soundstage DVD. 3. Lindsey performs the first few tracks virtually alone and even when the band join in there is a really intimate feel which makes you feel part of the audience. 4. Holiday Road is on it - complete with barking! 5...oh just buy it!

One caveat for UK buyers...be aware at the moment it's either Aussie or US import available so if you have a Region 2 only DVD player you better have a good laptop or be patient till UK version arrives!

Wonderful singer/songwriter and musician live magic.
I've always loved listening to Lindsay Buckingham,he's such a talented artist whether as part of Fleetwood Mac or as a solo artist.He is one quite fantastic guitarist,a superb songwriter and has a great voice as well.We all know many of the classic FM songs he's written and a few are on this set.This CD/DVD set is recorded at one show during his Under The Skin Tour last year.What a show it is,either solo or with his four piece band.The album had little to no airplay in the UK which was sad as its a really great one,but often in the number of CDs released every year some miss out,this was one but hopefully it will get picked up and played because its a classic in waiting and Lindsays first for ten years.This live set is only available currently on import,don't let it put you off,its an absolutely stunning set that you'll play over and over again no extra guests thrown in as so often happens on DVDs these days.Its the full set beautifully filmed and recorded that gives such a great close up of the band and LB' playing technique.Never heard him solo well this is one brilliant place to begin,Songs like Go Your Own Way,Second Hand News,Trouble and I'm So Affraid are included plus the song on the National Lampoons Vacation soundtrack 'Holiday Road@.The DVD also has a great version of FM classic Tusk.So all in all a fabulous release,that if theres any justice ought to get a UK release but get it now on import its still worth more than the price in sheer enjoyment.Rates alongside James Taylors One Man Band CD/DVD set as among the best releases of the last few months and certainly in my album of the year already.
