CD Description
Superseding the 2002 album of the same name, this 2009 Fleetwood Mac compilation covers the era that saw them become a million selling mainstream rock act. Focusing on the post-Peter Green years, this collection picks up the story with therelease of 1975's 'Fleetwood Mac' - almost a decade into the band's career. All the hits from this point onwards are featured, including Lindsey Buckingham's 'Monday Morning' and Stevie Nicks' 'Dreams'.

The 2002 album all over again...
'The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac' really highlights the magnificent career of Fleetwood Mac, and is a great reminder of all the classic hits they have given us.
However this is the exact same release as the 2002 release by the same name, only the cover picture has been changed. I am very disappointed that they were too lazy to put together a new collection, or at the very least they could have added some of the songs from their last studio album, 2003's Say You Will to this release. If you don't own the 2002 release this is well worth a buy. It contains all their biggest hits from 1975-1992, including many iconic numbers, such as 'Dreams', 'Little Lies', 'Don't Stop' and 'Everywhere'.
Unfortunately singles like 'Save Me', 'I Do', 'Peacekeeper' and 'Say You Will' are missing from this compilation, thus only 3 stars.
I would still recommend `The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac` to any music fan, as it is a clear explanation of why Fleetwood Mav is one of the most successful bands of all time.
How could I not?
Well *sigh* yes another best of album but the Mac. Alas I cannot justify giving this album anything other than five stars due to just how amazing they are. This is a great collect of all things Fleetwood Mac. If you are new to the band, wanting a rounded collection of the hits, or just looking to add to your collection, then this is an excellent album. It contains their "very best" songs. Faultless...but we all know that. Worth a purchase if not just to have all these songs collected together.
absolutely amazing
first of all i have all of fleetwood macs albums from the first self titled album "fleetwood mac" to their more recent album "say you will" but its annoying having to go through them all to here a certain song so what this album does is comprise the "VERY BEST" of the mac and all the songs we know and love are there to be enjoyed on just 2 cd's. from go your own way to don't stop- from world turning to storms and everything in beteween this is a fleetwood mac fans bible. even if your not a fleetwood mac fan but are familiar with their music its great just to have so you can put it on some saturday night and sing along to them as everyone know the macs classics i would give this 10/10 because its just amazing
