Educational4
I have been using SAQ for about 3 months. I found the book both informative & interesting. I now use dynamic flex warm ups before every session or game. Work on co-ordination & fast feet has shown results in 2/3 weeks.

The book is generally clear & concise where there is any doubt on form or technique the people at SAQ are more than willing to help & are only a phone call away.

Good warm-up programme, and rehab adaptability for injuries.4
This is a good book to have in your library if you are a soccer manager, coach, trainer or player.
I am none of these, except for the odd recreational game of 5-a-sides, but I am a Sports Therapist who deals with professional and semi-professional football players and their affected injuries. From my point of veiw, this book is of specific interest, as I can use and adapt it to rehabilitate my injured players to suit there playing position and particular football duties, and to suit there own specific injury.
The warm-up programmmes and soccer drills are well designed, described and illustrated, and are easily adapted to suit my rehab perscriptions, and also to keep the coaches busy and interested in their preparation, and get the players fit and excited at trainig sessions.
A note of warning though, if you buy this book, don,t lend it to coaches or players with young children, who might leave it lying around unattended. It makes a lovely colouring-in book for the little budding artists.

Requires lots of equipment2
I play for an U16 team and wanted to increase my speed. The book has a number of very cleverly thought out and interesting drills but you need so much equipment to do them. Through the whole book there was only about 6-8 drills you can do without the equipment which included some basic stuff that can be bought easily such as ladders, mini hurdles and cones but some of the stuff needed I hadn't even heard of e.g. flexi cord, overspeed tow rope, a parachute, etc.
So I would give this book 4/5 starts if you belonged to a professional club that had access to numerous amounts of complicated equipment but if you belong to an amateur club I would recommend looking elsewhere.
