Forte has compiled a very able and gifted set of acadademics who write on their specialist subjects. The book is especially useful for those who wish to grasp the basics of Scots Commercial Law. The editor is not frightened to tackle difficult subjects such as Scotland's unique laws of insolvency, and must be commended for this. Well worth buying!

Good if you are following the scots commercial law course
This book was compulsory for the course, the author was my lecturer. The lecturers at uni follow the exact outline of the first few chapters of the book so its good to have from that perspective. It is an over view of most topics so isn't really useful for someone wanting alot of detail.
