Average customer review:Product Description
In today's technologically dependent world we are all aware of the increasing damage we are doing to our environment, but the scale of the destruction seems so vast, we can often feel powerless to make any significant changes. Eco demonstrates how everyone can make a difference to the planet by incorporating environmental design, decoration, and strategies for living into their home. Whilst environmentally friendly architecture was once seen as minority interest, it is now viewed simply as best practice - Eco proves that it can be beautiful too. It is a book for those who want to build a home that respects the environment as well as for people who wish to make changes to the home they already have. Focusing on design, finish, decoration, and even housekeeping, Eco promises you lower fuel bills, fewer allergy-related illnesses, less waste, and a healthier world for your children to inherit.

Customer Reviews
Highly recommended!
Wilhide has obviously put a lot of effort into explaining exactly what Eco is all about and tells us how we can all play our part in sustaining the environment.
The book covers numerous Eco features, how they work and how they perform. Just about any building material you can think of (and I would guess a few you don't think of!) are analysed for their sustainability and recyclability value.
Beautifully illustrated case studies show these Eco principles in action, describing both how and why they were designed and built in the way that they were.
This book is literally crammed full of information, illustrations and sketches.
Whether you are considering a new build, an addition to your existing home or just hold an interest in Eco friendly buildings then this is the book for you!
Focus on building and interior design
The title led me to expect a wider coverage of design. Interesting nonetheless.
