My favourite novel of all time.

This was the second Jane Austen novel that i read and i immediately loved it. I could readily identify with the heroine, Catherine Morland, with her overactive imagination and her love for adventure.

This book stayed with me long after i had finished reading it. Although heart wrenching in some parts, i came away feeling humbled and found a greater appreciation in my life and the people in it.

I cannot enthuse enough how amazing this book (and its successor, Catching Fire) really is. It’s a book that hooks you in and never quite lets you go. One of my all time favourite reads.

A story of outsiders, prejudice and one of the most beautiful love stories i’ve ever read. All in all makes for a fantastic read.

An enchanting retelling of the story "Beauty and the Beast". An amazing book.

A story of one person’s decent into drugs. Written in verse, this is a very easy read but not at all forgettable. I would love to read more of Ellen Hopkins books.

An angel and a demon have to find the anti-Christ to prevent Armageddon from happening – with hilarious consequences.

A sad tale about one girls struggle with anorexia, told from the perspective of her younger brother. The plot might sound quite depressing but it’s filled with love, joy and family life.

I absolutely adore this series. Lian Hearn’s writing is mesmerizing and so atmospheric, you’d think you were actually in the story yourself. I highly recommend them.
