I don't know how many times I have already contemplated the pages of the volume that was delivered two days ago. The pictures are eloquent and moving. I trust that every one who holds the volume in his hands will also appreciate the profundity of the paradox of the title. By definition, a photo can only show the outside. But your `outsides' are all meant to reveal a deeply human `within'. And this human within discloses itself not only in faces. The selection is definitely Africa-weighted, but there are just enough pictures to testify that your human world extends beyond Africa.
