Customer Reviews
The best Touring Atlas of France bar none.
The level of detail contained within the Michelin touring atlas is simply brilliant making it the best French road atlas on the market. I have often used Michelin's yellow series maps for cycle touring because virtually any cycleable road or village/hamlet of any consequence is shown - and here you have the entire series contained in one handy atlas at a small fraction of the price making it an indespendible road companion.
Apart from the outstanding and attractive clarity, Michelin mark scenic roads in green in addition to denoting panoramic viewpoints, providing a clear indication of which areas might make more rewarding travelling if you've time to explore. Frequent altitude measurements and demarcation of steep road inclines are also handy features whilst topography (mountains, forests, plains) is also clearly marked. In addition to historic landmarks, petrol stations, rest areas and radars are also marked, all helping you get the most out of your travels. Thoroughly recommended.

MOT Atlas France 2009 (Michelin Tourist & Motoring Atlases)
Brilliant if you are touring France. I had an older version and it was well used each year but I needed to update it. If you don't trust Sat Navs, and I don't, this is really easy to use. It's also handy to have if you get lost using a Sat Nav! The spiral binder helps to keep the atlas compact as you can easily fold it in half. I find the miles per inch just about right for finding my way around France with our motor home, and there are plenty of detailed maps for navigating through cities. Toll Autoroutes are easily indentified if you want to avoid them.
No Campsites !!!!
Great maps but UNLIKE previous years THERE ARE NO CAMPSITES shown /plotted / displayed ( or whatever term you would like to use)
