Needs updating and better printing
The printing is nasty - the text is printed in a 90% stipple rather than 100% black, which is hard on the eyes. The layout is rudimentary.
There is no coverage of C99, and almost nothing on 64bit issues (there is, however, a fair bit on 16bit issues).
Whilst the C library is covered, I had the impression that quite a few things were not implemented to 'industrial strength' in order to keep the printed code size down.
Excellent reference that has source code
When questions arise about standard library functions then this book answers them, for "C" anyway. The code covers functions you'll never look twice at until you have a problem with them.
