Not a Championship read
I'm a huge Frank Lampard fan and I know an awful lot about his time in football and I was looking forward to reading an indepth book about him. Unfortunately this book doesn't provide that. I was very disappointed with the content, the way the book moved from one event to another and the unneccessary chattering about managers Ranieri and Mourinho. There is no need to discuss their careers when you are writing about a player.
This is a very disappointing read
Frankly My Dear, a let down
Being a big Lampard fan I was really looking forward to reading all about him. At many points throughout the book I wasn't quite sure just whose biography I was reading. It jumps from Chelsea to Mourinho to Raneiri. His childhood was hardly touched on and what was quoted by him I have already read in newspapers and magazines. At the end I know no more about him than when I started.
Really good read!
This book is so good! Also good if your a chelsea fan as it explores chelsea further on in the book aswell. Its amazing to read how lampard is in real life, and some mishaps he had! ( cyprus :|) Has some good pictures init. Its very intresing to read about his childhood, and then on to his relationship with Jose. He keeps me reading and dont want to put it donw
