Product Description

Grace Jenkins has had little experience with men - feeling too awkward and insecure to free the passionate woman inside her. But that hasn't stopped her from dreaming about Noah Harper. Gorgeous, strong and darkly sexy, his rough edge beneath the polish promises no mercy in the bedroom. When Grace learns Noah's engagement has ended in scandal, she shyly offers him her support and her friendship. But Noah's looking for something extra...Noah wants Grace - badly. He wants to possess those curves that go on forever, to savor her sweet innocence, to take her to the limits of white-hot desire...again and again. What he doesn't want is anything more complicated than that, and he knows Grace is a woman who deserves better. Grace, however, knows exactly what she wants - the kind of ecstasy only Noah can give her. Brazenly, she accepts, and Noah promises to make all her secret fantasies come true...

Well paced, well told story5
Grace Jenkins is a 25 years old, slightly overweight & self conscious with it. She has very little experience of men as a result, tending to try to become part of the scenery rather than attract attention. Noah Harper, the grandson of her employer, has long been the secret object of her desire, but she cannot contemplate anyone wanting her, yet alone the georgeous Noah. Also, he is engaged to someone else.

The book opens with Noah discovering his fiance, Kara, has been unfaithful. He breaks it off, but at Kara's request, agrees not to let anyone know the reason why. His primary emotion at the end of his engagement is relief - as the reason for getting married to Kara would have been because he was expected to.

Having a few (okay more than a few) drinks with brother Ben at his home two nights later, Noah is surprised when Grace turns up. Grace has been out of town for a few days, and offers her sympathy to Noah, and asside from his brother, is the only one to believe that there must have been a good reason for Noah to break things off. The warmth Noah feels at her loyalty and support, combined with his release from his promise to his former fiance leads Noah to proposition Grace. She refuses, because she does not want to take advantage of his inebriated state. However, when he wakes the next day, his need of her remains, and she quickly takes advantage of him.

Grace believes she has her eyes open about their relationship. Noah is as honest as he can be, and she agrees to keep their relationship strictly sex, and if that sounds like a tacky storyline, it actually is all that Grace initially wants from Noah. Although Noah finds her sexy and inviting, and has no problem with telling her so, Grace finds it hard to overcome a lifetime of feeling unappealing, and at first she simply revels in discovering her appeal.

The book is unabashedly erotic, so if you have any sensitivities in this area, this is not a story for you. However, I enjoyed the 'hot and heavy' relationship between the two principles, and the bulk of the story is not about sex, but about discovery - for both Noah and Grace. Their story is told by the perspective of both, and the reader becomes all the more involved. Secondary characters, such as Ben, Kara and grandmother Agatha also have their own storylines and again the perspective shifts to accommodate them. Sometimes this device serves to repeat things the reader already knows, but here it serves to move the plot along as well as adding depth and involvement with the secondary characters.

I liked Grace's strong character, her very human lack of conviction of her own appeal, and her courage. I enjoyed Noah's discovery of Grace, and although his personal development did not grow as exponentially as Grace's did, the discovery of his true feelings for Grace, in addition to his sexual need of her, was very well told.

I liked the book - the characters, the development, the mix of human emotions. This was the first Lori Foster book I've read, but it won't be the last.

Deliciously delectable five star read5
Believe me I’ve read them all. All types of contemporary romantic fiction, from Lowell to Andersen, from the bizarrely explicit Susan Johnson to the skillfully steamy Jennifer Crusie, but I have never read a book as delectably sexy as Lori Foster’s “Too Much Temptation’.

Reminding me of Jennifer Crusie’s similarly titled (and highly recommended) ‘Welcome to Temptation’, to be honest I doubted if anyone other than Crusie (with the exception perhaps of Karen Robards (contemporary novels)) could get the balance between humorously engaging and seductively sensual right. Forster stays just this side of ‘erotica’ (a genre I personally find unappealing) and miracle of miracles, manages to tug at the heart strings to boot.

The story is very simple. Pleasantly plump personal assistant Grace Jenkins has been carrying torch for her employer’s handsome Grandson, Noah Harper, for years. When, the night after he breaks up with his philandering fiancée, he drunkenly propositions her, Gracie takes him up on the offer.

Not for the faint hearted, the language and numerous sexual encounters between Grace and Noah leave nothing to the imagination. Like Crusie, Foster’s skill makes that the sex neither jars or offends but it is written in a plain spoken, mercifully cliche free (and surprisingly touching) way. My advice is that you read it with a bucket of cold water handy to douse yourself with from time to time, or you make sure your partner or significant other is close at hand for when you’ve finished! Totally classic in themes, the book owes its page turning quality not only to the hot sex, but also to a really sweet heroine, a bevy of interesting secondary characters and of course, the central message that will appeal to so many normal size women, that big can be oh so beautiful. Romantic and clutter free this little gem merits its label as an ‘erotic romance’. It’s a funny and sensual read and is as delicious as the ripe red peaches on its tasteful cover. Do yourself a big favor and read this delightful little book.

Whew!!! This is a scorcher!!!5
WOW!!!

What can I say about this book that hasn't already been said? It is a wonderfully sexy and heartwarming romance that will melt even the coldest of hearts.

I read this book from start to finish in one blissfully, happy sitting. When I finished, I wanted to go back and re-read it again!!!

The characters are brilliant and some are quite comical. You completely lose yourself in their world. And as for the many sex scenes.....WOWSER!!!!

Noah and Grace are just so compatible with one another that you can practically feel the sexual energy burning up from the pages! Boy!!! Lori's marriage must be really happy if this is just what she thinks up on paper!

I fully recommend this title to ANYONE, who is looking for romance in a book. The sizzling sex just makes it so much more appealing!!!

This is certainly one very satisfied reader who will be endulging in all of Lori's other books!
