Questionnable...
The last of Silver RavenWolf's trilogy.
I bought it to complete my collection (see her other books; To Ride a Silver Broomstick, To Stir a Magick Cauldron), having read it briefly in shops.
The positive aspects of the book include the appendices, which contain most of the knowledge you would care to know. Also her support for "defusing that doubt-bomb" (actual quote, yes it sounds lame) and getting around mental blocks for when you want to perform magic but doubt your abilities and so muddy the water.

My main criticism (and the reason I only gave it 2 stars) is that it does not contain anything new of any use. OK, there's a small section on Ghostbusting, a very indirect and unclear section on mental fascinations, and a few other small areas such as unlocking psychic centres within you.

My advice is, buy her other books first. They give you plenty of grounding in the magical arts and contain all that you should ever need to know.
Of course, if you need that handfasting ritual (which by the way, I find very Christian in concept) or the Wiccaning festival, then go ahead and get it.

Basically, only buy it if you have the money. There are other, perhaps more useful books out there to help you complete your study.

What a book!
Listen to no one but yourself. Try this book for yourself. I personally think it is a great book, and I enjoy RavenWolf's works. Although there is much bad commentary on this book (most of which is not true)It leads you through the world of Witchcraft once again as did her previous books and gives you more insight into magic and the realm of spell casting. I was personally the first in line to get this book when it arrived on the shelves and loved it. It teaches you true witchcraft techniques and lets you open your mind into the realm of fascination.

Such a great book
It is amazing what she has said in this book. Unlike some poeple she can turn anything in the house even a slinky into a part of magick and she is right that once you pick up a slinky it is hard to put down it gets mme right into the alpha state. Witch is much cheeper then buying 5 more books about going into alpha state. Thanks SIlver for anther great book. I tryed the Angel thing out and it has done wonders for me and my life.
