The hard case was not as useful as I first as there's no padding inside and so my camera doesn't fit snugly but is loose. I'd get a slightly bigger soft padded case next time.

The battery is a battery ... what more can I say.

Quality products
The case is a hard shell and protects the Fujifilm FD100 camera well. The strap etc appears unnecessary because the case just goes into a shorts pocket.

The BC-50 replacement battery is much cheaper than a Fuji battery, but is *very* slightly oversize. However it slides in and out of the battery compartment without a problem. Battery life appears to be fine although I have not tested it against the original.
