    Very Pretty but...2
I bought this Gaggia because I have always had a weakness for Gaggia products. The first coffee pot I remember as a child was A little two cup espresso stove top pot my Mum used to make coffees for Her and Dad, and if any Italian visitors came, out came the pot to make a nice espesso with the good china espresso cups getting taken out to use along with hand made biscotti. When I moved out, one of my first buys was a Gaggia six cup espresso pot and I still have it over 25 years later (and it still makes the best espresso!)

The 74841 is very pretty and it doesn't make a bad cup of coffee, but it also doesn't make a great cup, it's just average. I'm sorry, I have been spoilt all these years with the stove top model and I'm a bit old fashioned, it's just a lot less hassle to get the old pot out compared to all the rigmarole when planning a cup using the 74841, it's just that bit too fiddly for my taste.
