Funny, informative and really helpful.
I purchase a lot of books on dating and most are fun but don't really have all that much impact on my life. This book, while it didn't "turn me upside down and shake me out", did, in fact, make my eyes pop open a few times. I was drawn to the author's ability to be so honest and her inability to sugar-coat anything. Men, she says, aren't that hard to figure out and finally, I understood it. I understood why they flee or run off or lose interest. It's simple, it's apparent, and it's all in this book. I was in a slump but now I'm out and ready to get back out there. This book helped lift the veil and, not only that, it has a lot of powerful messages. I think a lot of young women--even those under 20, need to read this as it would help them not to make so many mistakes as their elders. But it's good for all of us. So glad I ran across it.

Back to basics
Every woman should read this book. Ladies, it's back to basics time. This books repeats everything your mother told, or should have told you, when you first started dating. There's a reason for this... the advice is great and it works. If you want to regain control of your dating life, feel good about yourself and stop waiting by the telephone, buy it.

Remember to be a woman and you'll be fine
I would recommend this book as it makes a lot of sense and as it is a quick, informative read. For me the gist of the book was that the girls should have more self-worth, remember that they do not have to compete with other women in order to get a good man and that they should 'flaunt' their femininity a bit more - they'd be very appealing to any man they want. I must say I actually agree despite being career-minded, academic and hm conventional.
