irrigation kit
This kit works really well. I have connected it to a timer and also added some normal hose onto the run so that I can have it it my green house, and then also run it into my raised veg beds all from the same kit. I just bought some extra connectors and used some old hose from the garden to customise it for what I wanted. I would really recommend this system over the narrower tube kits (which I have never been able to get to work).

Reaching dry areas of the garden
An area beneath a cedar tree in my garden remained dry even after heavy rain. I had a water butt nearby, which catches rain from the roof, and I needed to use it for watering this area. I attached a hose to the outlet of the rain butt and ran it across to the tree and attached the Draper Perforated Hose. I needed to make the perforations larger, since it was not attached to a mains water tap, but it now waters that part of the garden when it rains. An inexpensive and simple solution.
