zumo is made for extreme durability. Vibration-tested, waterproof and built with fuel-resistant plastics, it’s designed to withstand the elements. It's also intuitive, with a glove-friendly touchscreen and left-handed controls that make it easy to operate. There's a bright, sunlight-readable, UV-resistant display for easy viewing, as well as a unique motorcycle console for trip information, including a fuel gauge to warn you when its time to fill up. The display measures 3.5 inches diagonally and features 320 x 240 pixel resolution. Navigate the open road
zūmo 500 comes ready to go out of the box with preloaded Regional City Navigator NT® street maps. These include a massive points of interest (POIs) database, featuring hotels, restaurants, petrol stations, cash points and more. Simply enter a destination and zūmo takes you there with turn-by-turn voice prompts. In addition, zūmo accepts customised points of interest such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. The 500 also comes with a rechargeable, removable lithium-ion battery for trip planning or use on foot, and also accepts additional maps, making it the ultimate off-road navigator. Add traffic
To help you stay ahead of traffic , zūmo can receive optional Traffic Messaging Channel alerts via a compatible traffic receiver. Simply press a button and zumo recalculates your route to avoid traffic tie-ups. Talk and listen wirelessly
With zūmo 500's twin Bluetooth wireless technology, you can talk on the phone safely without removing your gloves or helmet. Connect zūmo to your Bluetooth-enabled headset/helmet and mobile phone to make and receive hands-free calls on the move. You can even make calls directly to POIs such as restaurants or hotels through zūmo's Bluetooth interface. zūmo also transmits navigation voice prompts and MP3 music to your headset so you can listen wirelessly. Plan your trips and share your rides
zūmo 500 makes it easy to plan your next trip and share routes with fellow bikers. Plan simple or extensive trips on your computer before you start: search for food and fuel stops and local attractions. Then, transfer your route to zūmo and go. At the end of the day, share your favourite places and rides with other zūmo riders and review your travels in Google™ Earth. SD card expansion makes storage and route sharing simple. Download routes to share with other bikers and even load MP3 files to your unit to enjoy tunes on the road. A JPEG Picture Viewer lets you share photos of your adventures with friends and family.
