Detective Alex Cross makes his second appearance in the worldwide No 1 bestseller that also became a No 1 box office hit as a film starring Morgan Freeman -- now reissued in striking new cover style. In Kiss the Girls, Washington-based homicide detective Alex Cross is thrust into a case he will never forget. This time there isn't just one serial killer, there are two. One collects beautiful, intelligent women on college campuses on the east coast. The other is terrorising LA with a series of unspeakable murders. But the truly chilling news is that the two brilliant and elusive killers are communicating, cooperating, competing -- and they have Alex Cross's niece.

Customer Reviews
A non-stop rollercoaster ride from first page to last.
This was the first James Patterson that I have read and if all his book are anything like this one give me more! It was the first book in a long time that I just didn't want to put down. He describes everything in such a way that it actually makes you think that it is all happening in real life. I only wish I had read Along came a spider first. SUPERB!!!
Horrifying, Intense and Intriguing.
What an amazing book this is. Please, don't be put off by the lame movies of Along Came A Spider or Kiss The Girls as they stray so far from the book it is beyond a joke. However, this book is definitely not for the faint-hearted. It describes murder and rape in very vivid detail that will no doubt horrify most readers. However, if you can cope with such imagery then this book is as amazing as it is chilling. Similar to the first Cross novel, KTG's proves to be a good example of a 'real' page-turner. Full of twists, the book switches from one characters point of view to the other, leaving the reader gagging to find out what happens next. After reading the first three Alex Cross books I can confidently say that this series looks to be a great one that I am glad to have stumbled upon.
A must read for all.

I have read more James Patterson books since and he is a brilliant writer who takes you to another world.
