This is a really good book5
This is a really good book. It is about a boy called Fergal and his sister Filly, who are given the Meteorite Spoon by Mrs Whisper. She tells them to dig a hole and scream into it whenever there's an argument and they will feel better. After one argument between their parents the house falls down and Fergal and Filly are trapped under the rubble. They escape through a tunnel, which was once the hole that they had screamed into, and arrive on the island of Honeymoonia, where they are involved in a fantasy adventure.

An absolutley wonderful book. READ IT NOW!!!5
Meteorite spoon is a book that you just can't put down it's witty, exciting but what struck me most was how Philip Ridley got the moral of the story over. He did so that it wasn't boring or unlikely he did it with great style. The moral was that children aren't really a waste of time, a pain in the neck, annoying, rude and thick! We're actually all important! I think that was one of the best messages you could put in a story because that's what a lot of people think about children. It's a great read, I guarantee you'll love it. Go on read it today!

Out of this World fun5
This is brilliant to read out aloud to Primary age children. As are all Ridley's books. Buy them.
