Engaging and moving!5
Beaver Towers has to be one of my all time favourite books for children. Having read it countless times as a child, I decided to introduce the book to my Year 4 class. They have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the tale and it has inspired even some reluctant writers to produce fantastic work in response to the story.

This is the story of Philip who is carried away on his kite to an island full of talking animals, a witch and of course magic. After some mixed up magic, Philip has arrived to be the ‘saver’, summoned to do battle against all evil in the form of the witch Oyin and her henchmen the Growlers. A classic tale of good conquering evil. Beaver Towers has all you expect from a children's book; excitement, adventure, suspense and of course humour. Baby B's character is fantastically written, my class have been laughing out loud at his actions, predicaments and antics. Each page is carefully written full of vivid detail and exciting dialogue, enticing you on, the children are always eager to hear what happens next not wanting me to stop reading even at hometime!

A real classic5
I owned all 3 books in the original 'Beaver Towers' series when I was young, as a child I found it hard to read books however I felt this particular series was gripping and interesting, now, several years later having remembered about the books, i purchased them again (my copies have been lost) for my young brother to read, i would recomend these books for any parents of young children, boys or girls. A great book.

Great book, well written, superb storyline4
It is a brilliant book. Nigel Hinton has put in a lot of imagination for this book and has put it down on paper very well. The plot is superb with the characters discribed well and the story is scary, funny, and exciting. This is a great follow up to the rest of his books and i hope he carries on writing.
