Customer Reviews
Audrey Howard does it again!
I was wondering if Audrey Howard would be able to pull off another great story, since she's written such great favourites already, but I need not have worried. A Time Like No Other is fantastic!
Audrey Howard has a way of making the past became so real. Lally is such a wonderful heroine, full of passion and strength, and Harry is perfect as the quiet, yet strong hero. Their story is wonderfully believable with heart-warming second characters.
Audrey Howard does an excellent job of keeping the story going with twisting turns in the plot. A keeper for all those who love historical sagas!
a time like no other
brilliant.enjoyed this book very much as i have each and every one written by audrey howard.looking forward to the next
Not Happy !
I eagerly await every new Audrey Howard but was very dissapointed with this one. I do not think it is up to her usual standard. Ok - the story is good but totally predicable. I found all the characters very shallow - I finished it but really wasn,t too bothered. I think she has slipped a long way from her days of the Juniper Bush (possibly one of the best reads ever !) and All the Dear Faces. Anyway I wont give up hope - I will wait for the next one.
